SuiteKeys : How they work

How SuiteKeys Work

SuiteKeys grant you access to a Lifetime account at the Pinnacle level. The difference between a SuiteKey account and a standard plan account is that there is a limit on the number of Staff Members you can add to the account, in addition to the limit of the amount of File Storage you can use. These limits vary depending on how many SuiteKeys you have redeemed into an account.

You can redeem anywhere from 1 SuiteKey to a maximum of 10 SuiteKeys into a single SuiteDash account.

  • 1 Key = 3 Staff, 100GB
  • 2 Keys = 6 Staff, 200GB
  • 3 Keys = 12 Staff, 300GB
  • 4 Keys = 15 Staff, 400GB
  • 5 Keys = 20 Staff, 500 GB
  • 6 Keys = 50 Staff, 1000 GB
  • 7 Keys = 75 Staff, 1250GB
  • 8 Keys = 100 Staff, 1500GB
  • 9 Keys = 125 Staff, 1750GB
  • 10 Keys = Unlimited Staff, 2000GB

SuiteKeys CAN be redeemed:

  • with a new unused email address
  • into an existing SuiteKey account with fewer than 10 keys
  • into an existing AppSumo account with fewer than 10 keys

SuiteKeys CANNOT be redeemed:

  • as a new account with an email address that has already been used to create another SuiteDash account*
  • into an existing non-SuiteKey & non-AppSumo standard plan account
  • into a Reseller Child account
  • into a Free Trial account**

*You can contact our Support Team (help@suitedash.com) to reset the email address for you, so that you may create an account using the same one.

SuiteKey Owner Dashboard

When you purchase SuiteKey(s), you aren't automatically creating a SuiteDash account - so you can purchase as many as you wish, and distribute them into accounts as you'd like.

After purchase, you will have access to the SuiteKey Owner Dashboard, in which you can manage your keys. You can log into this Dashboard by using this link:

Owner Dashboard

In your Dashboard, you can see every SuiteKey you have purchased along with the purchase price. If the key is currently redeemed inside of a SuiteDash account, you can see the date of redemption along with the Organization name and email address. This Organization email address is the Super Admin of the account.

There are four "statuses" each key can be in:

  • FREE: Not redeemed into any account
  • REDEEMED: Is being used in an account
  • LOCKED: Not redeemed into any account (FREE), but is no longer eligible to be refunded
  • REFUNDED: Has been refunded and is no longer available for use

You can redeem any SuiteKey into an existing SuiteKey or AppSumo account, as long as the limit has not yet been reached (maximum of 10 keys per account). You can do this by going to Flyout Menu > Manage Account; more information in the sections below.

In addition, you can create a new account by redeeming a key or multiple keys in FREE status using a new email address. More information in the section below.

As long as the purchase has been made within 30 days and the key is in FREE status, you can also choose to refund it by clicking the Refund link.

Creating new SuiteKey SuiteDash Accounts

You can create new SuiteDash accounts with your SuiteKey(s) that have not yet been redeemed. The deadline to create new accounts is July 1st, 2023.

To create an account, enter the email address you would like to use and how many SuiteKeys you would like to redeem here:

Redeem keys into a new account

The email address you enter here will be what you use to log in as the Super Admin of the account. An email will be sent to this email address to continue registration. An email will NOT be sent to the email address used to purchase the SuiteKeys (the "Owner" email address).

TIP: If you want to create accounts for other users, it is still advisable to create the account as the Super Admin, using an email address that you can access. You can simply add the other user as an Admin Role instead. This will ensure that you still have control of the account.

You can redeem keys with any email address, as long as it is not currently in use as a Super Admin for another existing SuiteDash account. (You can use your Owner email address too!)

Redeeming & Freeing SuiteKeys

In each SuiteDash account you create with your SuiteKeys, you can redeem additional keys to stack or you can "free" the keys to use for other accounts. You can do this by logging into the account as the Super Admin.

Navigate to Flyout Menu > Manage Account.

You will see an overview of your account, along with how many SuiteKeys you currently have redeemed, how many Staff members you have created, and how much File Storage has been used.

Click the Redeem / Free-up SuiteKeys button.

To redeem a key, copy it from your Owner Dashboard and paste it into one of the fields. Click the Save button when you're done.

When additional keys have been redeemed, you'll see the updated information in your Account Overview screen!

To "free" a key from the account, you'll first need to make sure that the limits on the number of Staff Members you have and your used File Storage will not exceed the limit with the key(s) you have left.

For example, if you have 2 keys redeemed and have 6 Staff Members in your account, you will not be able to free a key unless you delete 3 Staff Members. This is because freeing the key will leave you with 1 SuiteKey, which only allows a maximum of 3 Staff Members to be created.

To free a SuiteKey, click the icon beside it.

This will remove the key from this particular account and will now be in FREE status in your Owner Dashboard. You can now choose to redeem it into a different account.

SuiteKeys and AppSumo Codes

SuiteKeys and AppSumo Codes are essentially the same thing - they are codes used to grant access to a Lifetime account at the Pinnacle level. They can be used together to create the same stacking levels.

An existing AppSumo account is able to redeem SuiteKeys into it, as long as the maximum number of codes/keys does not exceed 10.

In addition, a SuiteKey account is able to redeem AppSumo Codes into it, as long as the maximum number of codes/keys does not exceed 10.
